About Oxford Discover Level 5
Oxford Discover Level 5 helps students develop stronger English while exploring meaningful questions, ideas, and topics about the world.
At this level, students work on communicating more detailed ideas, understanding increasingly challenging texts, expanding their vocabulary, improving grammatical accuracy, and developing more organized writing.
Students develop:

How the Complete Course Works
Oxford Discover Level 5 is offered as a 48-class live course divided into two terms.
Term 1: 24 live classes
Term 2: 24 live classes
This event is for Term 1.
Term 2 is registered and paid for separately.
Who Should Join?
Oxford Discover Level 5 Term 1 is designed for students ages 10–13 at approximately B1 English level.
It is suitable for students who:
- Are ready for Oxford Discover Level 5
- Have completed appropriate earlier-level English study
- Can communicate about familiar topics in English
- Are ready to work with more challenging reading and vocabulary
- Need to develop more detailed speaking and writing
- Are ready to participate actively in a small English group

How Free Registration Works
1. Register free — Reserve a place with no payment today.
2. The group forms — Once at least 3 students have registered, ESL Connexus contacts the families.
3. Payment requests are sent — Families receive the appropriate payment request after any necessary placement or account checks.
4. Complete payment — Payment finalizes the student's place.
5. The group is confirmed — The course opens once at least 3 students have paid.
Maximum group size: 7 students.
Minimum Enrollment Policy
ESL Connexus live group classes require at least 3 paid students to open.
If fewer than 3 students complete payment by the payment deadline, the group will not begin as scheduled.
Families who have already paid may choose one of the following:
- Receive a full refund to the original payment method
- Transfer the payment to another available ESL Connexus group course
- Keep the payment as ESL Connexus account credit for a future live-learning purchase
- Remain on the waiting list for a later start date, if the family agrees
ESL Connexus will not begin the course with fewer than 3 paid students at the published group price.
If a different learning option is available, such as private or semi-private instruction, it will be offered separately with its own confirmed price and only with the family's approval.
